Dan is the founder of ROHSGuide.com and has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in control and monitoring systems. He has worked extensively in an engineering capacity on projects ranging from high-voltage power distribution, fiber-optic communications, chemical production, government research, SCADA, cloud computing, and high-tech in general. Many projects (and output deliverables) were in highly-regulated industries where governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) are serious business.
RoHSGuide provides clear, factual, and implementation-focused information on hazardous materials compliance, product regulations, and manufacturing risk.
The site began as a reference for the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and has since evolved into a broader resource covering global substance restrictions, supply-chain documentation, and process-materials safety.
